The album title, "A House of Ghosts," is borrowed from a poem by Humbert Wolfe (1885-1940), with the first and last quatrains appearing in the published score.
Recording & Production
This recording was made in October 2024 at St Paul's Church Music Studio in Staverton, Wiltshire, and features Malcolm Archer's Steinway model D piano.
Composer Biography
Francis Pott, the composer, retired in 2023 as Professor of Composition at London College of Music, University of West London, and was previously a chorister at New College, Oxford.
