The album title, "A Journey for Two," is inspired by Iannis Xenakis's piece "Dhipli Zyia," which means "a group of two folk musicians," and also references the ancient Greek word for balance, "Zyia."

Vashti Hunter, a cellist born into a musical family in London, was the first British cellist to win a prize at the International Cello Competition 'Prague Spring' in its 65-year history.
