The recording took place from January 8-11, 2020, at the Lutherse Kerk in Haarlem, The Netherlands, with Ken Yoshida as producer, sound engineer, and editor.
Interpretation
Each oboe on this recording was fitted with a different reed, inspired by rare historical models, and string players followed contemporary manual instructions for performance practice.
