Daniel Schnyder, the Swiss-American composer and saxophonist, was born in Zürich in 1961 and has lived in New York City since the early 1990s.

Performer Biography
Stefan Schulz, the bass trombonist on this album, has been a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra since 2002 and was appointed professor at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2004.

Daniel Schnyder received a Grammy nomination in 2002 for his Concerto for Bass Trombone and was also nominated for the Deutscher Musikautorenpreis and the International Classical Music Award (ICMA) in 2011.
