This recording was made possible by a scholarship from the 'Młoda Polska' (Young Poland) programme, which the artist, Joanna Sochacka, received in 2020.

The album was recorded in the Concert Hall of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, Poland, between July 8-12, 2020.
Critical Reception
Despite the acknowledged artistic merit of Grażyna Bacewicz's music, it is performed less frequently than it is written about, and its presence in concert repertoires is limited.
