The album was recorded in the Concert Hall of the Warsaw Philharmonic on January 27, June 2, and December 3, 2009.
Performer Biography
Magdalena Małecka, the violist for OPiUM String Quartet, initiated the quartet's formation and also co-founded the international chamber orchestra Harmony of Nations Baroque Orchestra.

The album's theme, 'Back to Melody,' features works by three contemporary composers inspired by folk tradition, characterized by expressive, often nostalgic melodies and vibrant folk rhythms.
