Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 2; Grieg: Holberg Suite

Martha Argerich and Seiji Ozawa’s memorable recording of Beethoven’s First Piano Concerto was a great success on its release in 2017. In May 2019, the pair joined forces with the Mito Chamber Orchestra once again, to perform the Second Concerto – and this live recording celebrates that reunion. Ozawa also conducts the orchestra in Mozart’s Divertimento KV 136 and Grieg’s Holberg Suite.
