Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 and Symphony No. 8 were recorded live in May 2023 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Beethoven's 'Pastoral' Symphony (Symphony No. 6) likely drew inspiration from Justin Heinrich Knecht's 1784 symphony, 'Musical Portrait of Nature,' which shared similar programmatic elements.
