Kazunori Seo, the flautist, began his music studies at age six with his musician parents and won the Premier Prix in flute and chamber music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.

Beethoven's grandfather, also named Ludwig van Beethoven, was Kapellmeister to the Archbishop Elector of Cologne from 1761 until his death in 1773.

Beethoven complained to his publisher Hoffmeister that new arrangements of his Serenades, Op. 8 and Op. 25, published as Op. 42 and Op. 41, were not his work, though he had made drastic changes in some passages.
