Andrew Balio, the trumpeter on this album, was appointed Principal Trumpet of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in 2001 and previously held principal positions with the Israel Philharmonic and Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México.

Franz Schubert, a prolific songwriter, penned about six hundred songs with piano before his death at age thirty-one.
