Instruments

The recording was made on the Eisenbarth organ in the former Cistercian Abbey Church of Ebrach, which is a reconstruction of a Baroque organ from 1743, augmented with Romantic elements.

Recording & Production

This recording of Bruckner's Ninth Symphony includes a completed fourth movement, based largely on Bruckner's own sketches and drafts, which Gerd Schaller had previously performed and recorded with an orchestra.
