The original analogue tapes for these rediscovered Nimbus recordings, typically one-inch, four-track, 30ips, were transferred to a digital medium at 192k for preservation.

The relationship between Nimbus Records and Martin Jones began with an audition recording in 1972, which resulted in a Poulenc recital and many subsequent recordings over decades.
