Franz Schubert, composer of the Fantasie, dedicated his work to Caroline Esterhazy, a noblewoman who was his student and with whom he was smitten.

The album's original title, Beklemmt, was changed to Cavatine or A Simple Song to avoid association with a Mike Myers' Saturday Night Live skit.
