Johann Nepomuk Hummel, whose Grand Sonata is featured, was a child prodigy who was taken in as a pupil by Mozart for two years and later made Haydn's successor at Esterházy.

Performer Biography

Madoka Inui, the pianist, is a contract artist of Bösendorfer in Vienna and plays a Bösendorfer instrument on this recording.
