Performer Biography
Arturo Tallini, the guitarist on this album, is considered an exemplar of contemporary guitar music and has taught at the Conservatory of Music Santa Cecilia in Rome since 2007.

John Cage's A Room was originally part of a duo for voice and prepared piano from 1943, but was later extracted as a standalone piece for piano.
Composer's Artistic Vision
Elliott Carter described his piece Changes as 'music of mercurial contrasts of character and mood, unified by its harmonic and rhythmic structure,' taking the form of a conversation with phrases resembling spoken sentences.
