Performer Biography
Itzhak Perlman, the violinist on this recording, decided to record these works primarily for the next generation of soloists.
Recording & Production
Itzhak Perlman chose to record these concertos with a student orchestra, specifically The Juilliard Orchestra, where he himself had studied.
Interpretation
Itzhak Perlman retained the original fingering (first position) for the concertos by Rieding, Seitz, and Accolay for reasons of authenticity.
