The idea for this recording project originated in September 2022 when Adriano Sebastiani received a letter from Bruno Battisti D'Amario dedicating a new work, 'Contrasts', to him.

Bruno Battisti D'Amario, the composer, studied at the Conservatorio Musicale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and later became a titular professor of Classical Guitar in several Italian Conservatories.
