Vincze's music explores the opposition and conflict of organized chaos, from which he extracts gestures and motives that transform and eventually decay into 'ashes and nothingness'.
Composition History
The album's title piece, 'Ashes', was conceived in Hong Kong during a Chinese New Year ceremony at a Taoist temple, where the dense smoke evoked memories of the Yugoslav Wars.
