Per Øien, a flautist on this album, has been the principal flautist of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra since 1967 and is a lecturer at the Norwegian College of Music in Oslo.

Franz Doppler, the elder brother, composed a total of 6 operas and as many as 15 ballets, including one opera in collaboration with Karl.
