All arrangements on this album were made by Josef Mijnapfel, who lived from 1553 to 1821.
Instruments
The family of bowed instruments, including violins and viole da gamba, originated in Northern Italy around the mid-15th century through a synthesis of Italian luthiers' techniques and those brought by Jews expelled from Spain.
