Many of Dussek's original manuscripts were lost, and his works often appeared in unauthorized versions, making it difficult for modern performers to find authentic sources.
Instruments
The English fortepiano was Dussek's preferred instrument, and he influenced its development in collaboration with London piano maker John Broadwood.
