Performer Biography

Anthony Plog, the trumpet soloist, is a professor of trumpet in Freiburg and has performed solo throughout Europe, the USA, Japan, and Australia, in addition to composing works performed in over thirty countries.

Composition History

Petr Eben's 'Okna (Windows)' was inspired by four of Marc Chagall's stained-glass windows from 1962, which depict the twelve sons of Jacob, founders of the twelve tribes of Israel.
