Composition History
The Covid-19 pandemic provided the curators, Jérôme Lejeune and Lionel Meunier, with extra time to explore 17th-century German composers' catalogues for this project.
Recording & Production
The recording was made in June 2021 and July 2022 at the Notre-Dame church in Gedinne, with Jérôme Lejeune handling artistic direction, recording, and editing.

Performer Biography
Vox Luminis, the ensemble performing on this album, is supported by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and the city of Namur, and is a resident artist of Concertgebouw Brugge.
