Interpretation
The Arioso Quartett Wien believes that the language or dialect a composer spoke might be more important for the phrasing of their music than generally assumed.
Interpretation
The Arioso Quartett Wien aims for interpretative artlessness and a yielding, homogenous sound, rather than superficial effects or exaggerated tempi and articulation.
Performer Biography
The members of the Arioso Quartett Wien are partly born in Vienna and received most of their musical education there, playing in renowned Viennese orchestras.
Interpretation
The Arioso Quartett Wien's preferred repertoire focuses on the First Viennese School, especially Joseph Haydn, and they have performed nearly all of his string quartets.
Composer's Artistic Vision
