David Christopher Panzl, one of the percussionists, began his training at age four and studied marimba in Tokyo with Keiko Abe.

Stefan Blum, the other percussionist, premiered Enjott Schneider's percussion symphony Sisyphos in 2001 and Machine Worlds in 2018.
Composer's Artistic Vision
The composer, Enjott Schneider, was influenced by Jean Tinguely's polarizing aesthetic vision, which combined junkyard and art, triviality and artificiality.
Instruments
Percussionist Stefan Blum created a full spectrum of modern percussion sounds by scavenging scrap metal from garbage dumps for his setup.
