Composition History
Five pieces from Eres Holz's MACH cycle, which explores the 'loneliness of life', were written during the 2020/21 COVID-19 pandemic, when loneliness became a daily experience.

All three compositions on this album are world premiere recordings.

The composition DEATH was conceived by Eres Holz out of concern for the increase in violence and global instability, and premiered shortly after the Hamas attack on Israel.
