Sammoutis is interested in 'disability aesthetics,' exploring new avenues of expression by using forms of neurological disorders as compositional models, turning away from illusory perfection.
Composer Biography
Evis Sammoutis, the composer, was raised in Cyprus, a historical crossroads between Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and trained as a classical guitarist and composer in Europe and the United States.
