This album features 48 songs by Ferenc Farkas, selected by pianist István Dominkó, many of which were previously unpublished or out of print, making this recording a process of discovery and rediscovery.

Ferenc Farkas's first compositions were songs, and he continued to write them throughout his life, producing around four hundred songs up until the 1990s.
