Historical Context
Historically, female Spanish and Catalonian composers of the Middle Ages were called 'trobairitz', meaning 'finders of songs', and were as acclaimed as their male counterparts, the 'trobadors'.

The album was a co-production with Deutschlandfunk and BR-KLASSIK, recorded in Lucerne, Switzerland, and Munich, Germany.
