Composer Biography
Ferdinando De Sena, the composer, was born in Brooklyn, NY, and currently teaches composition and electronic music at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida.
Composer's Artistic Vision
The album title, SPALDING'S BOUNCE, is an homage to musician/composer Esperanza Spalding, appreciating the broad stylistic unity her music communicates to the composer.
Album & Artwork
The cover painting for the album is titled "Abstract #2" and was created by Johan Gilbert.
Composer Biography
Ferdinando De Sena previously served on the faculty of the University of Miami School of Music from 1992-2009 and directed its Electronic Music program starting in 2003.
