The symphony «Operientes Mare» (Latin for "covering the sea") incorporates quotes from Beppe's earlier works, «Über der Wiese schwebend» Op.88 and «Inner Seas» Op.16.

Rune Bergmann, the conductor for this recording, previously directed the Polish premiere of Beppe's symphonic poem «Heart» Op.27 No.5 in 2018.

Flint Juventino Beppe's Symphony No.1 «Operientes Mare» Op.89 was commissioned by conductor Rune Bergmann, who asked Beppe to write a symphony themed "the sea".
Composer's Artistic Vision
Beppe's Symphony No.1 tells a fictional story and uses tubular bells to represent "The Melody of Existence," a recurring theme in his work.
