Cellist Georgiy Lomakov, born in Ukraine, began cello lessons at age six and won his first international competition in Uzbekistan two years later.

Atsuko Koga, the flutist, has won numerous international competitions, including First Prize at the Grand Concours International de l'Academie de Lutèce.
