This album was recorded at Art-forêt, the Kashiwazaki City Performing Arts Center, which was built as a symbol of the city's revival after the 2007 Chuetsu Offshore Earthquake.
Performer Biography
Kotaro Fukuma, the pianist on this album, won the First Prize and the Chopin Prize at the 15th Cleveland International Piano Competition at age 20.
Interpretation
Pianist Kotaro Fukuma made his own arrangements of Ravel's "La Valse" and Satie's "Je te veux" for this album.
