The members of The Queen's Six are Lay Clerks of St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, and regularly sing for the Royal family at private and state occasions.
Interpretation
The Queen's Six's rendition of "Stand by me" was inspired by Karen Gibson and The Kingdom Choir's performance at Prince Harry's wedding, which deeply moved the group.
Performer Biography
The Queen's Six, the vocal ensemble on this album, takes its name from the 450th anniversary of the Accession of Queen Elizabeth I in 2008, the year the group was formed.
