Jan Kalinowski, the cellist, and Marek Szlezer, the pianist, are childhood friends who perform together as the Cracow Duo, a group officially formed in 2003.

Bartłomiej Nizioł, the violinist, plays on a Giuseppe Guarnerius del Gesù instrument from 1727.
Instruments
The piano used for this recording is a Pleyel piano dating from 1845, which was donated to the Historical-Literary Society / Polish Library in Paris in 2006 and fully restored.
Performer Biography
Marek Szlezer, the pianist, began his career by winning the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Rome at the age of 12.
