For 'The Damascus Road' suite, composer James Woodhall used text from Acts 9 almost unaltered, but also incorporated Jesus' words from John 14:6 in 'I am Jesus'.
Recording & Production
The album features two distinct recording sessions: tracks 1, 12, 13 & 15 were recorded at St Cuthbert's Church, Earl's Court, and tracks 2-11 & 14 at St John's Church, Harpenden.
Performer Biography
Will Houghton, a baritone on this album, is a lay clerk at St Albans Cathedral choir and also works for the NHS in Clinical Systems design.
Composer's Artistic Vision
The title track, 'Full of Grace', was inspired by the Angel's greeting to Mary in Luke 1:28, where she is described as 'full of grace'.
Composer Biography
James Woodhall, the composer, conductor, and pianist, graduated from the University of Surrey with a First-Class music degree and was awarded both composition prizes during his studies.

The cover painting for the album, titled 'And Everything', was created by Vicky Goldsobel.
Composition History
The composer, James Woodhall, had wanted to write a piece based on the conversion of Saul on the road to Damascus from Acts chapter 9 for several years.
