The disposition and concept for the new Mathis organ in Rieden, which is featured on this recording, were designed by the album's organist, Professor Norbert Düchtel.
Performer Biography
Hans Jürgen Huber, the trumpeter on this album, studied trumpet at the 'Mozarteum' in Salzburg and completed his master class studies at the University of Music in Augsburg with distinction in 2002.
Interpretation
The album features a wide repertoire, from arrangements of Baroque pieces to an original 20th-century composition, including three 'Ave Maria' settings for trumpet and organ.
Recording & Production
This album was recorded in August 2016 at the Parish Church of the Assumption in Rieden, Bavaria, Germany.

Trumpeter Hans Jürgen Huber considers his activities as a composer and arranger, as well as numerous CD productions, to be very important to his musical career.
Instruments
The organ used for this recording is a new instrument built in 2005 by Mathis from Näfels, Switzerland, which incorporates the venerable 1776 Funtsch casework.
Performer Biography
Norbert Düchtel, the organist, was appointed Professor of Organ Performance at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Detmold in 2004 and received the Decoration for Services to the Republic of Austria in 2007.
