Her Voice
Three pioneering female composers are the subject of Neave Trio's album 'Her Voice'. Amy Beach (1867–1944) was the first American composer to achieve success writing large-scale works, while Louise Farrenc (1804–1875) was Professor of Piano at the Paris Conservatoire as well as a successful composer. The English composer Rebecca Clarke (1886–1979) is best known for her chamber music, of which her Piano Trio is a prominent example.
