The idea for this recording originated from soprano Stacie Dunlop, who commissioned the Three Neruda Odes and wanted to record them with other contrasting works by Peter-Anthony Togni.

Performer Biography

The string players on this project, Ilana Waniuk, Suhashini Arulanandam, Rory McLeod, and Dobrochna Zubek, often perform contemporary music together, though they are not an official string quartet.

Recording & Production

The recording sessions took place over a few magical days in the Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto, guided by legendary producer David Jaeger and brilliant recording engineer Dennis Paterson.
