Much of the music on this album is built on slow-moving sonorous textures, often chordal and underpinned by harmonic drones, and frequently uses ancient Icelandic texts.

This album was recorded in July 2021 at All Hallows' Church, London, with John Rutter as artistic director, sound engineer, and editor.
