Zsolt Kalló, the artistic director and soloist of Capella Savaria, was the first artist in Hungary to perform the violin concertos of Tomasini, Kraus, and Michael Haydn.

Capella Savaria, founded in 1981, is Hungary's oldest period-instrument chamber orchestra and has made over 80 recordings, five of which have won the Hungarian 'Record of the Year' prize.
