Gabriel Beavers, the bassoonist on this album, is the Assistant Professor of Bassoon at Louisiana State University and principal bassoon with the Baton Rouge Symphony.
Performer Biography
Gabriel Beavers has performed as acting principal bassoon with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Jacksonville Symphony, and was a member of the New World Symphony under Michael Tilson Thomas.

Composer Biography
Gordon Jacob taught at the Royal College of Music from 1924 to 1966, where his students included Malcolm Arnold and Imogen Holst.
