The Duo Praxedis, consisting of mother and daughter Praxedis Hug-Rütti (harp) and Praxedis Geneviève Hug (piano), is reanimating the forgotten tradition of works for harp and piano.

John Thomas, a Welsh harpist and composer, was born on St David's Day, March 1, 1826, a fact he considered significant throughout his life.
