The Symphony No. 4 'Heichalos' was commissioned for the Violins of Hope, an extraordinary collection of stringed instruments played by Jewish musicians during the Holocaust and painstakingly restored by Israeli luthiers Amnon and Avshi Weinstein.

Composition History

The Guitar Concerto was commissioned by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, with co-commissions from the Nashville Symphony, the Reno Philharmonic, and the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias.
