Won-Sook Hur has performed with numerous symphony orchestras internationally, including the Oradea National Orchestra in Romania and the Shanghai Radio Symphonic Orchestra.

Joseph Haydn's works were initially catalogued by the composer himself, but today we use a more accurate list by Anthony van Hoboken, who worked on it for decades.

Haydn's piano sonatas, of which there are assumed to be 55 or 56, were composed over a period of more than forty years.

This album is the culmination of 'The Haydn Project' by Won-Sook Hur, a five-year recording endeavor resulting in a ten-disc set of Haydn's complete piano sonatas.
