Composition History
The works on this CD were specially written for Black Pencil's 'KAISEKI' concert tour by Roderik de Man, Arnoud Noordegraaf, and Robert van Heumen.
Instruments
The ensemble Black Pencil features a unique instrumentation of blockflute (Jorge Isaac), panflute (Matthijs Koene), viola (Esra Pehlivanli), accordion (Marko Kassl), and percussion (Enric Monfort).
