Pianist Mari Kodama’s album Kaleidoscope is a collection of transcriptions for piano. She plays a selection of string quartet movements transcribed by Saint-Saëns, Balakirev and Mussorgsky, as well as Beethoven’s own transcription of the finale of Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet.
