The original master tapes for this album were carefully restored and transferred to digital format by engineer Claus Byrith from Asinus Studio.

Albert Linder, the horn player on this recording, won first prize in the Geneva Competition and was the solo horn at the Mozarteum Orchestra in Salzburg before joining the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
