The Tinalley String Quartet, an Australian ensemble, won the Grand Prize of the 2005 Australian Chamber Music Competition and First Prize at the 9th Banff International String Quartet Competition in 2007.
Composer Biography
By age eighteen, Felix Mendelssohn had already composed twelve String Symphonies, the celebrated Octet in E flat major, and the Overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream.
