Raffaele Trevisani, the flutist on this recording, studied with renowned flutist James Galway and played for four years with the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala in Milan before starting his solo career.

Mozart, despite composing these flute concertos, expressed a dislike for the instrument, stating he was "unwilling when I am obliged to write for an instrument that I don't like."

Luisa Prandina, the harpist on this recording, graduated with honors from her harp studies in Milan at the age of fifteen and has been the solo harpist of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan since 1992.
